13  Mahler: Symphony No. 4 performed by 'SaraBande 'in an arrangement for chamber ensemble. St Peter's Church, Nottingham - Coffee Break Concerts - 11am, coffee & biscuits available in church from 10.15am. Admission is by donation to the St Peter's music fund.  This concert marks the start of a sponsored 24 hour 'musicathon' in aid of the church organ appeal. Music will be performed in church throughout the day and night until the celebration of Choral Eucharist at 10.45am the next morning, where the choir will sing Rheinberger's stunning Mass in E-flat.

20  Coffee Morning for All Hallows Gedling in the Memorial Hall from 10am to 12 noon.  Usual good variety of stalls, Fair Trade, good eats, excellent company. 50p admission includes coffee and biscuits. It’s a Saturday not Bank Holiday!

20  Snowdrop Day in the beautiful grounds of St Mary's Church, Lowdham. 10am-4pm. Come and enjoy the scenery, the snowdrops and sample some home-made soups at lunchtime and cakes, tea and coffee in between.
