NEWS: Comings & Goings

The Revd Dr Richard Davey, currently Coordinating Chaplain at Nottingham Trent University and Associate Priest at the Clifton Team Ministry in the Diocese of Southwell and Nottingham to continue as Coordinating Chaplain at Nottingham Trent University and to be Associate Priest at Nottingham, All Saints, St Mary and St Peter, same Diocese. Licensing date to be announced.

The Reverend John Chambers, Priest-in-Charge of Flintham, East Bridgford with Kneeton and Car Colston with Screveton in the Diocese of Southwell and Nottingham is to be Rector for the Benefice of Richmond with Hudswell united with Downholme and Marske in the Diocese of Ripon & Leeds with effect from 29th November 2010.

The Reverend Stephanie Fahie, Rector of Hickling with Kinoulton and Broughton Sulney (Upper Broughton) in the Diocese of Southwell and Nottingham to resign her post on her retirement with effect from 31st December 2010.

The Reverend Naomi Hill, previously assistant curate at Northampton, St. Giles, Diocese of Peterborough to be Associate Priest at St Nicholas Nottingham and St Christopher Sneinton and Leader in Discipleship Development.  Subject to CRB clearance. To be licensed by the Bishop of Southwell & Nottingham on Thursday 2nd September 2010. 

The Reverend Steve Silvester, Priest-in-Charge of Nottingham St Nicholas, Diocese of Southwell and Nottingham also to be Priest-in-Charge of St Christopher Sneinton, same Diocese. To be licensed by the Bishop of Southwell & Nottingham and installed by the Archdeacon of Nottingham on Thursday 2nd September 2010. 

The Reverend Helen Bridger, Assistant Curate of Nuthall and Kimberley in the Diocese of Southwell and Nottingham to be Chaplain at The Queen Elizabeth Hospital, Kings Lynn in the Norwich Diocese with effect from 13th September 2010.

The Reverend Elizabeth Snowden, Resident Minister of Holy Trinity Church, Clayhanger and Youth and Children’s Co-ordinator for the Parish of Brownhills with Ogley Hay in the Lichfield Diocese to be Priest-in-Charge of Bestwood Emmanuel with St Mark, Nottingham in the Diocese of Southwell and Nottingham. Subject to CRB clearance. To be licensed by the Bishop of Southwell & Nottingham and installed by the Archdeacon of Nottingham on Tuesday 5 October, 2010.

The Reverend Canon Ruth Worsley, Area Dean of Nottingham South and Priest-in-Charge of Sneinton St Christopher with St Philip in the Southwell and Nottingham Diocese is to be Parish Development Adviser for the Woolwich Episcopal Area in the Diocese of Southwark with effect from 28th October 2010.
